'Homeless in the City' w/ John (8)
Friday, February 26, 2016.
In 2016, I'll be taking a random homeless person to lunch each week. I have titled this movement, "Homeless in the City," and this week, it led me to a man named John. John has been homeless for less than a year. He was formerly incarcerated for the past ten years for robbery. He does have family here that he can live with but is afraid to face his family since his release. He plays the keyboard and guitar and hopes to play with a band soon. He has no children and has never been married. Until John gets on his feet, he sleeps on the streets of Atlanta. We dined at Taqueria on Broad, a mexican restaurant in downtown Atlanta. God bless you, John.
