'Homeless in the City' w/ Patrick (14)

Saturday, April 23, 2016. In 2016, I'll be choosing a random homeless person to take to lunch each week. In today's 'Homeless in the City,' I was led to a man named David. David has been homeless for the past eight years. He was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Before homelessness, David once owned his own business as a landscaper. However, after his wife was diagnosed with Cancer, he could not keep up with bills and tend to her bedside. His wife eventually died of Cancer, but David never found himself back to the opulent life that he once lived as a business owner. Instead, he found himself in depression and doing drugs. He sleeps in the parking lot of Publix in Buckhead Atlanta. We dined at Arby's in downtown Atlanta. God bless you, David.
