'Homeless in the City' w/ Marcus (9)

Friday, March 4, 2016. In 2016, I'll be randomly choosing a homeless person each week to take to lunch. I have titled this movement, 'Homeless in the City,' and this week, it led me to a man named Marcus. Marcus has been homeless for ten years. He encountered homelessness after being laid off from his job as a chef. He was once married but says his wife divorced him after he had an affair. He has no children. Marcus was once a cook at Waffle House so he was very enthusiastic about eating at his former workplace. We dined at Waffle House in downtown Decatur. God bless you, John.
